The under-cabinet hood is a built-in hood that is integrated into the kitchen wall unit positioned above the hob for a perfect concealed effect, ideal for those who do not want to interrupt the continuity of the kitchen cabinet finish.
The installation of this model, since it must be carried out inside the kitchen wall unit already in place, may not be easy: the poor visibility and the weight of the product make the operation somewhat more complex than the assembly required by other types of kitchen hoods on the market (overhead hoods, downdraft, wall hoods).
Sirius offers several solutions to facilitate the assembly of its range of built-in units.
In the SL 927 anti-drop models or the SLTC 919 WING model, for example, the presence of support springs in the corners allow the built-in unit to temporarily engage with the wall unit, allowing the operator to easily proceed with screw fixing.
A different installation solution has been proposed in the SLTC928 model. This Sirius built-in unit has been designed to make installation simpler and, above all, to avoid having to make cuts in the wall unit to position the hood. In fact, the product is installed directly into the cabinet by guides: the operator must initially proceed with the positioning of the guides on the wall unit on which the built-in unit will slide.
This model is available in three sizes 60-90-120 cm and is ideal for wall units that are between 31 cm and 35 cm deep: if the wall unit is deeper than 31 but within 35 cm, it is necessary to position, in addition to the guides, the additional slats supplied to achieve the appropriate depth.
Another installation solution applied by Sirius in many of its built-in units, as for example in the SL 906-L model, provides the possibility for the operator to rotate the motor, allowing the operator to choose between top or rear air outlet during installation, as required.
